Overview:
A study designed to evaluate patients
who present to the stab room with head injury. This is a feasibility
study to determine how many patients with head injury would qualify for
an actual study of a drug intervention. The questions read out like an
actual study, but this is more of a practice run.

Study Endpoints:
Data sheet to be filled out for every stab room patient who enters with
head injury (trauma). These should be patients with isolated head injury
and no other major injuries. |

Research Associate’s
Role: Identify and enroll eligible patients (consent is waived - not
needed)

Physician’s Role:
The RA may need to ask the attending physician or Pit Boss to help them
answer some of the questions after the case is over
