Parking Information:

Beginning June 2, 2008:

Research Associates should park in the lot located on 8th street between 10th and 11th Avenue. As of September 1st, there will be blue signs designating seven spaces for us to park (the signs are along a wooden fence on the southeast corner of the lot; cars park facing the Hope Community Church parking lot). These spaces are reserved for us 24/7, but please only use them when working a shift in the ED. They should not be used for other activities. When working an overnight shift, either park in the lot or on the street (free after 10pm). Do not park in the ramp for an overnight shift unless you are willing to pay to get out.

***Note*** We will not be compensating for parking in the ramp, except for orientations. If you park in the ramp, please be prepared to pay the fee to get out.

ID Badges:

ID Badges are obtained from the Parking & Security Office in Red Building Lower Level (LL). The office is open from 730a - 300p Monday - Friday. A coordinator must vouch for you in order to obtain one.

If you are a medical student on research elective who has already been issued a badge for clinical rotations, you will need to turn in your existing badge until you are done with your research elective.

*NOTE* - If you are finished with the research program, all badges need to be returned to the media room so they can be deactivated.

Confidentiality Statements and Background Checks:

All RAs need to sign Confidentiality Statements and fill out Background Check information before their first shift in the ED. A coordinator can provide you with copies of each of these documents.
