Pelvic X-Ray study: Data Sheet, Study Flow, Data Collection Tips, FAQs

Overview: This study seeks to determine if, based upon clinical observations, certain trauma patients can be ruled-out for pelvic fracture without an X-ray.

Primary Endpoints: Evidence of pelvic fracture from X-Ray vs. physician clinical observations.

Eligible Patients: STAB patients in need of a pelvic x-ray who do not have penetrating trauma or have been previously evaluated at another hospital for the same injury.

Research Associate’s Role: RA’s are responsible for enrolling patients into the study.
 

Physician’s Role: Physicians are responsible for providing RA with answers to Y/N questions about clinical observations of patient.
